| Games logo has more than one hundred years'history, since the first one has been created at Paris Olympics 1924. The logo of sports competition is a combining site for sports and design. As the visual system, games logo contains the national culture of host country, and reflects the social and human environment. Games logo has become to a major category of contemporary logo design. The type and number of games logo will continue to increase along with the sporting events increasing. This article is expected to give some reference for the future design by analysis the excellent games logo.This paper aiming for giving a systematic study of games logo, by analyze the historical background and artistic style influence on its development history, and take the design arts as the entry point. On the ground of analyze the design features, creative methods, graphics performance, color use and design meaning of outstanding design, we will discourse the laws behind the logo design, also its social values and leader role of world signs development will be involved. At last, the tendency and the reasonable forecast of games logo development will be discoursed. This paper will look forward to have some guiding function about enrich the games logo design theory and practice. |
