What effective teaching concerns is how to use proper teaching strategies to improve teaching efficiency. Facing the problem of "high use, low efficiency" in writing teaching of junior high school, the paper is trying to start from the theory of effective teaching and examine the present situation of teaching writing in junior high school. The writing teaching will be put into discussion under the theoretical framework, and strategies to improve the effectiveness of writing teaching will be explored here.First, Make a general description of effective teaching at home or abroad from its meaning and evaluation towards it. This passage will have teachers as starting point to research into effective teaching and find what teaching behaviour will have association with expected teaching effect. Why teachers as a factor in teaching is paid special attention is that it is convenient to study and it will help us teachers improve teaching. Another, it will further discuss the significance of introducing effective teaching into writing teaching.Second, Aiming at the common problem in junior high school writing teaching and in order to learn its present situation objectively and comprehensively, a survey will be made about it from perspective of teachers and students respectively. Analysis of the results will help find out the factors that may influence the effectiveness of writing teaching in junior high school and sum up concrete examples of low efficiency in writing teaching as well as specific difficulties students may meet in writing as a result of it.Last, Based on the theory of effective teaching, and looking at the low efficiency of writing teaching in junior high school and difficulty students may have in writing, it will discuss in detail from the interest in writing, writing sequence and writing assessment how to apply the theory of effective teaching to guiding writing practice and improve the quality of writing teaching.
