With the socio-economic development and the urban infrastructure's increasing, a large number of rural surplus labors ran into cities. The number of floating population in China increased rapidly and the scale is continually expanding. As the most vibrant city of China's - Guangdong, where there are the largest number of migrant workers. With the expansion of the migrant workers and the number of their children's increasing, some social workers began to call upon the Government and the community to concern about the children of the migrant workers, from the last century 90's , especially the education of their children.This study includes two research tools, a questionnaire survey and a case approach. This study conduct an empirical research of children's Education making Guangzhou City as an example. The study is divided into six parts: The first part is mainly about the purpose of this study and the related research of the study. The second part is about the analysis of the children's family environment, including the domestic conditions, the choice of their education and the expectations of their parents. The third part is about the analysis of the children's educational conditions, psychological state and their own expectations. The fourth part is about the reasons of the problems about the children of compulsory education of migrant workers. Based on the full analysis of the actual situation, the fifth part provided guide advice for the development of compulsory education. The sixth part is about the conclusions and the shortcomings of this study and looking forward to the direction of the future studies.The Study shows that: The children's family environment is very poor. When theirparents chose school for them, they always considered whether the school is convenient.They always make less investment in education, but they have high expectations of their children. The number of boys is larger than girls in School-age children. Most children lived less than 5 years and had the experience of dropping out of school. And most of the students' academic performance is in general. On the psychological status, the migrant workers' children were satisfied with their life status basically. But most students once had the feeling such as loneliness, being discriminated and being misunderstood. Most of the students have in common with their parents about their educational and career aspirations. More students hoped that they could go abroad to develop in the future.
