In this fiercely competitive and challenging times, the society needs such kind of qualified people who not only can be knowledgeable, capable, but also posses perfect personality that they could adapt to fierce social competition, and withstand the test of difficulties and setbacks. So there is much more focus on perfect personality and training personality of the teen-agers. The other foreign countries have transited their main emphasis of education from"knowledge education"and"intellectual development"to"personality training". In our country many middle school students'personality developing conditions and training level can not keep up with requirement of the times. So it is important that the teachers establish students'personality in middle school history teaching.Valuing intellectual and despising personality, such one sided education is more and more important. The goal of history teaching is in order to shape the people. Shaping a healthy personality is not only the basic goals of history teaching, but also a history teacher need to explore the problem in the new curriculum. The teachers guide students to respect for self and others to develop the personality and individuality, so that students have a good sound noble personality, such as positive attitudes , enterprising spirit, addressing the challenges of learning the spirit of innovation, down-to-earth style of work, self-regulation and character, treating others, harmonious interpersonal relationships and so on.This article consists of six parts. The first part is about introduction on history teaching and personality predicament of middle school student. In the second part the author defines the concept of personality and establishing personality, the relationship of personality and history teaching. The third part is about the implements superiority and feasibility that personality moulds in history teaching. In the forth part the author have explained its influence that personality moulds internal problem and external world facing in history teaching and have put forward the feasible tactics which deal with these questions. The fifth part is putting forward the concrete case of the personality in history teaching. In the end the author have explained the basic structure and main view and the weak point of the article.
