The Study Of The Talent-training Mode Of The Junior College In Korea

Higher vocational education is the higher level of the vocation education and an essential part in the higher education system. With the development of the economy and the technology, cultivating more and higher quality and practical or applied talent through the higher vocational education is the trend of many developed countries in the world.Since the 1970s in the 20 century, the Korean higher vocational education has been developing at a fast speed, and the reform of the higher education has also achieved a great success. The unique talent-training mode of the junior college has been accepted by citizens. With more and more opportunities of cultural exchange between Korea and China, and for the sake of vocation education reform in our country, it is very necessary to do some study on the talent-training mode in junior college in Korea, and make a summary of it character. The aim of this study is to draw a lesson from its experience.This study has five parts. Firstly, introduce the meaning of this study, and then distinguish the different instructions which are in the higher vocational education system. Secondly analyze the history and the status of the junior college in Korea. Thirdly research how the talent-training mode works, especially from the vision, the goal, the subject, the curriculum and the method. Fourthly, draw lessons from the talent-training mode in junior college, and also analyze some problems of it in the new era, then point out the direction of the higher vocation education reform. Last but not the least, find out the problems of talent-training mode in our country's higher vocational education and give some suggestions on how to reform.
