The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.The development of the country's economy and society has entered a new stage of innovation-driven development.Talents play a leading role in innovation-driven development strategy.General Secretary Xi Jinp ing pointed out in the National Ecducation Conference:We must work hard to enhance the overall quality of students,educate and guide students to develop comprehensive abilities,and cultivate innovative thinking.Current stage,the cultivation of innovative talents is highly valued by m ost research universities in China.However,as an important part of higher education,applied undergraduate colleges lack understanding of innovative talents.As well as the reasons for its immature development,the innovative talent training model is not perfect.Therefore,exploring the training mode of irnnovative talents in applied undergraduate colleges will h ave a profound impact on the cultivation of applied innovative talents in China.This research is oriented to the construction of an innovative undergraduate innovative talent training model Through the literature research method,questionnaire survey method and comparative research method,this paper analyzes and reconstructs the innovative talent training mode of applied undergraduate colleges in China,The first part of the study discusses the background and significance of the research,the research status of domestic and foreign research,and the difficulties and innovations of this research;the second part of the study clarifies the concepts of applied talents and STEM education in applied undergraduate colleges an d applied undergraduate colleges,and expounds the theoretical basis of the research;the third part of the study conducts an empirical investigation of five applied undergraduate colleges in Shaanxi Proviace;the fourth part of the study sorts out the talent training programs of five applied undergraduate colleges it Shaanxi Province,and systematically analyzes the current situation of innovative talents training in applied undergraduate colleges.The fifth part of the study draws on STEM education to construct an innovative talent training mode for applied undergraduate colleges,STEM education concept as an advanced interdisciplinary education concept sweeps the globe,becoming synonymous with the development of science and technology and the cultivation of innovative talents,according to the problems and reasons of the cultivation of innovative talents in applied undergraduate colleges,the author draws on the STEM education concept and according to the inherent law of the development of applied undergraduate colleges in China.Taking,Based on undergraduate educations"to return to the university's fundamental and"all-round development"talents to adapt to the needs of the society,from the four aspects of guiding ideology and basic principles,target system,content system and security system,we will construct a new application-based undergraduate innovative talent training model.
