Since 2004, decision-making power of formulate college entrance test questions has been sent down to Jiangsu province. The 2008 Jiangsu ETC papers are the test after the reform. Also it is a guiding test for the senior teaching. The proportion of historical materials is increasing in Jiangsu ETC papers, which highlights the importance of historical materials. Teaching of historical materials not only can contribute to the implementation and completion of three-dimensional target effectively, but also can promote students'problem-solving skills in ETC. The effectiveness of history materials teaching is intended for a more targeted, raised point of view of this article, the combination of theoretical perspective, the practice of teaching and education itself and the examination of historical materials in the teaching of deletion.However, to meet the requirements of NMET, history materials teaching has more features for the examinations, resulting in masses of repeated tests, which of course is a great pity. We focus less on how to learn according to the historical materials and how to realize the history, let alone the thinking of understanding the current affairs. The research on historical materials teaching lays more emphasis on personal experience but less emphasis on the theory. So the efficiency of historical materials teaching is more and more important, that is, a problem of "fish and fishing", which is to teach students the ability to analyse and solve the historical problems. This article combines the problems with examinations and the research on the problems the students meet. It is aimed at the efficiency of historical materials teaching, which is of great importance to the history teaching.The introduction of this article is divided into four chapters, the first chapter of which covers the importance of the teaching of the historical materials. It discusses the value of this thesis from the following aspects, problem raising, research content, research synthesis, research methods and research innovations. Chapterâ…¢states Jiangsu ETC previous status in historical materials and analysis, binding Jiangsu ETC papers, the analysis of historical materials serious research into the topic. Chapterâ…£discusses how to improve the effectiveness of the teaching of historical materials, combined with own practice experience, to guide students from the historical collection, sorting and selection, analysis and applications, etc, to improve the effectiveness of the teaching of historical materials. The aim of the thesis is to provide some helpful suggestions on the teaching historical materials work and enhance its effectiveness. It is to better improve students'ability to analyze and solve problems, as well as to enhance students'awareness of innovation and to reach the goal of curriculum reform.
