In order to adapt to the development of knowledge-based economy, we should train a group of high-level applied talents. At present, the multiple problems of our applied talents training have reflected that the deviation of our basic philosophy of education is the culprit and the registering of some comprehensive university is becoming increasingly imminent. Objectivism is considered a theoretical foundation in the process of our training. We stick to the objectivity of knowledge blindly and think learning is an external process, so we see the mastery of comprehensive knowledge as our fundamental goal. It is true that this paradigm can help students master basic skills effectively in a relatively short time and have tremendous contributions to our pursuit of development in industrial societies. But, in the era of knowledge economy, its shortcomings have become the shackles of mental and physical development of our university students. They are manifested in these areas:emphasizing on knowledge but neglecting the potential, paying much more attention on the book but lighting the practice, valuing affords but slighting experiences, underlining reception but belittling reflection, valuing scores but looking down self-cultivation and etc. Therefore, in the situation with the universities has from the margins of the society into the center of the society, we must take training as our historic mission in a higher perspective, more accurate positioning, faster awareness and action. Our talents training should break the traditional standard which is a correspondence theory and standards of the "truth", should implement the concept of development, should claim the standard of "viability", should build the modern road to pragmatism using the coordination of the market, the quality and the development of students as the principle, in other words, the reform of our talents training should be from the "partial objectiveness "to "constructive innovation " The theory of Bourdieu's in the field of the construction of relationship and the philosophy of general education at Harvard university are just challenges to our talents training. They also provide a solid theoretical and practical reference for our new pursuit on constructivism. This paper, with the general macroscopic view and questionnaire method, summarizes the situation and the problems of our talents training. Then though investigating, it pointes out that the educational ideal exerts major influence on talents cultivation. Analyzing the existence and the reforming reason of these ideals, then combining them with the theory of relationships—building and referencing to the practical experiences of Harvard general education which also stands for constructivism, it can arrive the goal:"the educational ideal derives from the'partial objectiveness' to'constructive innovation.'" At last, it tries to put forward some guidance for our applied undergraduate education.
