On The Cultivation Of Autonomous Learning Ability In Senior Politics Teaching

At present, students are forced to learn under the guiding of teachers to improve their college entrance examination score, which will do harm to students on the long term. The new round of reforms in the school curriculum lies in how to transform the way the students are learning. And autonomous learning is one of the study methods that the school curriculum reforms are advocating. The thesis is based on the survey about the situation of the students'autonomous learning ability in our school and analyses the reasons why their autonomous learning ability is weak. The author of the thesis expresses his cognition of autonomous learning and the importance of improving students'autonomous learning ability. In order to meet the requirements for reforming the school politics classes, the author discusses the basic strategies on how to improve students'autonomous learning ability. He stresses the importance of students-centered teaching style and the practical method to promote students'inquiry learning.
