Vocational education as an indispensable component of general education has become an increasing concern of researchers. The pace of reform of vocational education has gradually increased, but the phenomenon of "heavy professional, light-culture" is quite serious. This makes the language courses in vocational education lags far behind the general secondary education, teaching materials construction are in particular. At present, the general high schools mother tongue teaching is of a rising tide of reform. Secondary vocational schools language teaching materials reform should also keep up with the pace of reform of mother-tongue teaching materials in high school. The slow progress in the research and the lack of systematic status must be changed. The secondary vocational school education has gradually become a major development in the twenty-first century education positions. The importance of materials researching of the mother tongue teaching in secondary vocational schools is also manifested. Materials'researching is not only the basic requirements of curriculum reform, but also the inevitable self-development needs of teachers. As users of teaching materials, teachers are the direct operators who develop the teaching resources after following add. Therefore, teachers are the backbone of teaching materials construction and have a voice. To this end, writer use Chinese language teaching in secondary vocational schools edited by Zhao DaPeng, published by Language press in 2005 as the research object.
