Patriotism is an everlasting subject, though old so new. The internet era has been the new time that the human being has been strode into and pushed forward by the information network technology. Within this era, it provides many challenges and opportunities for the development of history progress and human beings, because the network characteristics such as open, equal, interactive, instant and suppositional have broken people tradition survival, life, thought and mechanics. But, the inherent nation targets and the systems, especially the patriotism based on the whole national states'self-identity have been pounded by network multi-culture, it makes the form of the culture, the notion of the ideas, the notion of the values from all over the world collide with, also makes western liberalism thought be all-pervasive. Therefore, it is the studying purpose and value choose of this thesis that the schools as the main channel and betokening position in patriotic education how to answer and accomplish the missions that the era given.In the process of main studying and discussing the thesis, the author releases some new viewpoints about this topic via drawing the relevance studied data in the past, carrying out on-the-spot inspection again. In this paper, there are three chapters about the main as follows.The first chapter begins with the analysis of the background of the patriotic education, namely to know deeply about the external environment that "broken" online western media distorting and the internal demand of "set" cultural symbol which belongs to ourselves. Then it reveals the characteristics of patriotism education in the network era are:nationality and open for battle, equality and authoritative coexist, dynamic virtual and historic appearance melt.The second chapter has summed up the main achievements and deficiencies that the school education in patriotism has already been. Then analyzed the current situation and brought about the main reasons following: At first, network reduced the idea pounding the school education in patriotism; Secondly, the network speeded up and renewed the content quickly of the school patriotic education; Thirdly, the network has broadened the approaches and methods of school patriotic education.The third chapter puts up to the countermeasures according to the analysis of the current situation of the school patriotic education in cyber age. It contains that reinforces a facade communicating with guidance to change the tradition patriotic education ideas; broadens the contents of the school patriotic education;reforms the teaching methods and means through establishing the perfect network system, strengthening our initiative network culture and fully utilizing the network platform to preempt information at new highs.
