| In Japan, the patriotic education is referred to as the "patriotism" education. In this paper, we are along with the line of the historical development of the Japanese "patriotism" education, by the main document evidence to sort out and summarize the characteristics of the Japanese school "patriotism" education, and combined with the recent series of prominent events to disclose the essence of Japanese "patriotism" education, all this suggest that we should alert the Japanese Nationalism "patriotism". This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the preface, mainly summarized the research background, research significance and research status at home and abroad. Briefly on the patriotic, patriotic education,"patriotism" concept analysis, pointed out the Innovation:take the Japanese right-wing forces to restore pre war militarism "patriotic education" as the background, the historical evolution of the Japanese school "patriotism" education as the main line, to put forward thinking of the essence and reference of the Japanese "patriotism" education, and in the last part raises that Japan should face up to history and give up the idea of an imaginary enemy.The second part is the historical development of the Japanese school "patriotic education".
