Research On College Student Affairs Process Reengineering And Optimization Based On Workflow Technology

Student Management Information System is an important part of University Management Information System, which is an integrated management system including the praise works, quality education, apartment management, psychological educational to finish the work about Admission, daily learning, living, graduation and other processes. However, the current college student management system has many problems, such as unreasonable work flows, bad structure operating, low efficiency, large cost and low satisfaction among the students. Workflow technology is developing more rapidly than other information technology in the area of computer applications. Introducing workflow technology to the management of college students in the daily life will meet the needs of student affairs in handling process. This thesis has done deep researches on workflow technology, and has applied it in the Student Management System.At first, this thesis introduces the basic concepts of the workflow technology, and then analyses the basic concepts and principle of Petri net, which is a workflow modeling language. With business process reengineering thinking and based on detailed analysis of the existing college student in the work of business processes, student affairs obtained the work of the Petri net workflow model, and evaluated them. UML modeling tools are used as well as the structure diagram, use case diagram, activity diagram to analysis and design the structure and function of Higher Education management information system.This is the first time to introduce workflow technology college student affairs. This thesis finish restructuring achieve the existing business processes and allocating the existing information resources efficiently. The whole process model of college student affairs based on workflow technology will provide the basis for the further development of the work.
