As the development of social economy and the inter-cultural integration, internationalization turns out to be one of the most featured trends of higher education. The diversity of international affairs information leads to a complicated intersectional relationship between international office, academic office, student office, finance office, and all the schools and departments. As the change of external and internal environment, the present process of international affairs management is no long adapted to the new environment. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the BPR theory to enhance the level and quality of the international affairs management.The article, via analyzing the three core international affairs of the DUT International Office, focusing on the needs of DUT international affairs management, puts forward to apply business process reengineering theory to optimize the current process system to achieve the scientific and efficient operation of three core international affairs. Firstly, the article defines and analyzes the three core international affairs of DUT International Office, points out the existing problems of the redundant organizational structure, tedious process and inflexible management pattern, reveals the reasons from the point of view of business processes. Based on the above-mentioned analysis, in accordance with the methods and principles of BPR, using the 5W1H and ECRS analysis methods, this article develops the theoretical reengineering of the three core international affairs and analyzes the effect. Finally, the article proposes to re-organize the structure of international affairs related organizations, utilize the information technology, and develop relevant regulations, in order to support the implementation of the business process reengineering.This article, aggregating the BPR theory and case analysis, provides a new idea of conducing the core international affairs at DUT, in order to cope with the current challenges encountered in international affairs management, and to improve the quality and proficiency of the management and services, seeking to further promote the development of internationalization of DUT.
