In recent years, the studies on theories and practices of research university in higher education was carried out, and its undergraduate teaching quality was growing concerned by all. Research university stands in the top position in our higher education system with the leading and dominant role, is the center of the gathering of advanced academic and the frontier of the high levels scientific research. Undergraduate education is the fundamental task of the research university, and the undergraduate teaching quality is the lifeline of the universities. It concerns the quality and level of talent delivering to the community, and affects the enrollment quality of students about graduate education, and is the foundation of the education in research university. But in the overall planning and resource allocation. Undergraduate education needs to survive and develop in the tough competition with the scientific research and postgraduate education, leading to the increasingly prominent about the quality issues of undergraduate education. Thus the achieve about the internal quality assurance system of undergraduate education become the urgent problems in order to improve the undergraduate teaching quality. This article try to investigate the lack and experience about the undergraduate teaching quality assurance in research university at home and abroad by theory and practice analysis, and put forward effective proposals and measures.This study is starting from the content of the internal quality assurance system of undergraduate education, investigates the property about the internal quality assurance system of undergraduate in research university, and then analysis the current Situation of construction about the quality assurance system in our research university, and points out the problems, and deep analysis on the cause. And then analysis the overview about the research university in the United States, Britain and Germany. Finally gives advices to build the systematic and scientific internal quality assurance system of undergraduate education in research university to achieve optimal quality of undergraduate teaching.
