Recently, the number of NEET in China is growing gradually. Particularly as the 80's generation in the city, they don't engaged in Employment, education or training. They can work, but they give up the job opportunities. They would rather stay at home, living with their parents, spending lots of money with aheading consumer attitudes. The phenomenon of NEET subverts the traditional Chinese family values and ethics, bringing great pressure and burden to the family and society. The NEET is not just a family phenomenon, but also a complex social problem. Thus, the study of NEET in China is very important to the mitigation of the family and social conflicts.Based on the actual social reality and maneuverability, this paper chooses the 80's generation as the research subjects, and chooses some 80's NEET in the city of Hefei as samples.Firstly, this paper descrypts the source of NEET and the relevant definition of the concept, clarifying the Chinese city post-80's NEET as five categories,'completely depending on class, college graduates class, business fantasy class, business class, which is covered all the features of the Chinese city 80's NEET.Secondly, after understanding and mastering the basic situation of the 80's NEET in Hefei, we make some conclusion:making detailed description and analysis from psychological characteristics, behavioral characteristics, consumer characteristics and profession characteristics, which is the'sub culture'features of the 80's NEET. This section applied to the "sub culture" concept, and development process theories.Thirdly, according to the above conclusion of a detailed "sub culture" features, we analyze and interpret the causes of the 80's NEET with a sociological point of view. This section mainly includes three respects. First, the study of socialization of the 80's NEET. Using the theories of the conception, condition and meaning of socialization, we analyze the influences of socialization on individuals from the angles of different social subjects (family, school, peer groups and the mass media) and the life periods of socialization(preschool period, childhood, adolescence). Then, we get the conclusion of the relationships between the bias and failures of socialization and the formation of the 80's NEET. Second, relevance between the traditional culture and the formation of 80's NEET. In one respect, we analyze the traditional family values in China and combine with'cultural lag'theory of the American sociologist William Ogburn. And the make a conclusion:although the times is progressed with consistently changing of various social cultural, and family structure, but such a deep social consciousness as traditional family values could not change a short term. This provides the NEET phenomenon with theory support. In another respect, using the theory of Goffman's'impression management' in social interaction, we analyze the'face project' of Chinese people, concluded the rebalance between the value of Chinese face and the formation of 80's NEET. Third, we analyze the formation of 80's NEET from the point that the pressures that the 80's must face in the social transformation period, including employment pressure, high housing prices and the state of youth unemployment and the protection of the unemployed are not in place, etc..Through the above analysis, we could conclude that the NEET make great influences to the individuals, families and society, which should be concerned and noted. The mitigation and control of this social problem should be imperative. This paper give some practical mitigation measures through a clear responsibility of family, school, society during the process of individuals'socialization.
