The attainments of teachers, as a problem widely concerned, should integrate with the new curriculum ideas from every perspective. Distinguished from the studies in the past, this thesis will concentrate on improving the attainments of teachers starting from new textbooks. The former studies usually stated that teachers should adjust themselves to the changes of textbook reform. While what we are approaching now is that textbooks have already changed, which forces teachers to change and adapt to it. To beginning with, this thesis introduces respectively the background information of the study, the practical significance, study approach and three relevant terminologies (New curriculum, textbook and the attainments of teachers), etc. Then the article will specifically expound the issue from three general perspectives: First, analyze the differences between the new textbooks and the old ones published by People's Education Press. Second, analyze the relationship between new textbooks and teachers. Last but not the least, analyze the specific promotion the changes of new textbook has brought to the improvement of the attainments of teachers.As to the teachers, new textbooks changes bring about space for expansion, as well as new severe challenges for teachers. If they seize the opportunity, they will obtain a great benefit and become more capable and knowledgeable. On the contrary, if they can not adapt to this change and fail to meet the severe challenges, the teachers can only suffer matchless stress and infinite frustration. Actually, teachers are not passive and isolated in front of new textbooks. As long as the teachers take the initiative to deal with this change and challenge, face with their own shortcomings carefully, cultivate personal ability and improve personal accomplishment, will they turn pressure into motivation and conquer new textbooks gradually, and finally dominate textbooks as effective personal teaching tools proficiently.
