Currently difficult employment has become an issue of great concern to the whole society. What should secondary vocational schools do facing the increasingly severe employment situation and the status of labor supply exceeding its demand? Particularly how should the agricultural vocational schools make the most of their advantages to help students achieve effective employment? This issue should be attached great importance to because it is directly related to the vital interests of students and the survival and development of the schools. This paper analyzes the current employment situation of the students in secondary vocational schools and the problems in the current Employment Education and put forward the principles and measures of Employment Education in the agricultural vocational schools.As the direct supply side in the labor market, secondary vocational schools should establish a core belief that "students training and employment should be guided by the market ". In the process of education, schools should set the specialty and train students in accordance with the market demand to meet the demand for personnel in the employment market and only in this way can they do the job of students employment well. A good job of Employment Education is necessary for a solid and good job of graduates employment in secondary vocational schools. The job of Employment Education should also be guided by the market demand. It must be carried out on the basis of the needs of both the students and the society and the employment standards of the enterprises.This study adopted the method of literature, survey and case analysis. It consists of four parts:the first section which is the overview puts forward the background and significance of the study of Employment Education in vocational schools; the second section describes the current situation of students employment in vocational school and make a survey and analysis of both the Employment Educational needs and the market demand conditions for graduates in order to "suit the remedy to the case" and provide the "targeted" Employment Education for the students; the third section analyzes the history and current status of Employment Education in vocational schools in China in order to facilitate its future development and improvement; the fourth section which is the focus of this article discusses the principle and strategies of Employment Education in agricultural vocational schools under the current market orientation with a view to compensate the lack of current employment education.
