| University governance structure is an important issue of modern university institution. Research of the effectiveness of governance structure in some successful university may provide some helpful reference to this matter. Its departments and research centers develop a flexible matrix structure, which connects with the outside closely, and also responses to the requirement and change of circumstance quickly.If we regard the governance structure of university of Warwick as an effective one, not only for its efficiency, openness and applicability, furthermore, it reflects a core value of academic, and injects in it with new dynamics in an innovative way. At the same time, the structure coincides with the "entrepreneurism" culture of the university, stimulating departments look outward for resource, but inward they integrate as whole at the advantage of university's sustainable development. |
