After several decades of reform and opening, a systematic framework of vocational education has been established in China. It has been developed sustainably and healthily in terms of scale, level, major, and teacher resource. Sustainable development is a brand-new concept of development and values consistent with human needs, because it regards development as a continuous, overall, harmonic and equal interaction between man, nature, and society. It has been introduced into educational fields, and therefore, the realization of sustainable development in vocational education draws more and more attention in both academic and educational research.The thesis includes five parts:Partâ… Introduction includes motivation, background, and significance of this research.
