Mathematic education as students'cultural foundation course was compulsory in Chinese vocational high school. Different from the senior high school mathematic education, mathematic education in vocational high school is necessary for other professional education and is the foundation of students'future advanced studies. However, current Mathematic teaching in these schools was uncorrelated to professional teaching. In addition, poor knowledge foundation of students in middle vocational schools leaded to the low study interest and poor teaching effect. Current situation of mathematic education in Chinese vocational high school was worrying. Innovation should be made immediately.To improve the mathematic teaching quality in vocational high school, teachers were actively exploring and gave many macro-level suggestions, especially about the new teaching method combined mathematic education and other professional education. However, when it come to micro-level, there were large gaps presented in actual situation investigate and deep analysis. The suggestion for existing issues were too general to be adopted, most of which were only located at classroom teaching. Research in this paper organized a comprehensive investigation on current study and teaching situation of professional education in a vocational high school, analyzed the reason and character of present status from different point of view, and provided some advices on Mathematic education innovation.Questionnaire and interviews were carried out to investigate the mathematic teaching situation of Chinese middle vocational schools. Electronic students, mathematics teachers and teachers of professional courses of Qingdao Electronic School were selected to participant in this investigation. Result shown that: a) Students of Chinese middle vocational schools usual have poor knowledge foundation and bad study habit, as well as their poor family education; (b) Family and society have an intrinsic bias to vocational education, in their opinion general education and diploma education were mach important than vocational education and occupational ability; (c) Students in vocational schools hadn't grasped science study method and hadn't formed good study habits, so their learning interests were not high. However, they like their specialty, and know there was close relationship between mathematics and professional courses. At the same time, they believed there was great potential of themselves. (d) Although mathematics teachers had realized the close relationship between mathematics and professional courses, they hadn't pay enough attention to the need of professional courses, which leaded to the weak connection of mathematics teaching contents to professional knowledge. (e) In the eyes of professional teacher, current teaching material and teaching methods didn't suit to current situation. There was big disjunction between the two different kinds of courses, which need to be improved in the future.Advices on the development of mathematics teaching with electronic characteristics were given by the author on the base of the investigation results and the research of educational teaching theory, which were listed as following:a) Mathematics service concept and definite teaching target should be build up, that is mathematics teaching need to strengthen the contact with other professional course, enhance the application, and improve the ability to solve professional problem.b) Middle vocational schools students usually lack of self-confidence and lofty ideals. Teachers should enter the hearts of students, focus on teaching every student's desire, paid more attention to their affective factors to improve their learning enthusiasm, to bring up professional confidence, as well as to reignite their desire for knowledge.c) The junction of mathematics education and other professional education need to be built in many ways: (1) Various professional courses should be undertaken by mathematics teachers. (2) Teaching plans should be established by mathematics teacher and other professional teacher together.(3)Module teaching should by adopted in mathematics education. (4)Professional example should be introduced in mathematics teaching. d) Encourage the students participated in mathematics teaching to change the mathematics education pattern of the vocational schools.e)ematics achievement evaluation method need be innovated, which should put more emphasis on the participation of students during mathematics teaching process: changing the Test score assessment method to multi-target, multi-weight assessment method.
