| In this study, teacher's teaching behavior can be classified by three types according to different roles of teacher in the Montessori Theory, which are "silentteaching behavior", "waiting for teaching behavior" and "coordinationteaching practices". And it takes a teacher (teacher H) in a Montessori kindergarten in Hangzhou and the children in her class as the objects, and lots of "works" as context to implement the case study. The information of teacher H's teaching behavior can be gotten through the observation and the interview with the teacher. through the observation of Montessori Kindergarten teacher H's "work". And the study is dialyzed teaching behavior of teacher H's from the following aspects:summary teaching behavior of teacher H's; types and characteristics of teacher H's silence teaching behavior; types and characteristics of teacher H's waiting teaching behavior; types and characteristics of teacher H's coordination teaching behavior.The section introduces three stages of three types of teacher H's teaching behavior which were obtained in summary teaching behavior of teacher H's:the first stage is searching theoretical basis; the second stage is observation and analysis; the last stage is the confirmation.The section is silent teaching behavior, including guidence-oriented silent teaching behavior,appreciation-oriented silent teaching behavior, intervention-oriented silent teaching behavior. The features of silent teaching behavior are that modeling and guiding, doing without saying anything; patient observation without saying and doing anything; expressing emotions using facial expressions.The section is waiting teaching behavior, including observation-oriented waiting teaching behavior and advice-oriented waiting teaching behavior. The features of waiting teaching behavior are that following the rhythm of children, no hastening no disturbing, focusing on observation, timely and appropriately.The section is coordination teaching behavior, including inspiration-oriented coordination teaching behavior, assistance-oriented coordination teaching behavior and intervention-oriented coordination teaching behavior. The characteristics of the coordination teaching behavior are that using the word "please" and concise language in daily teaching practice;grasping the degree of "coordination"appropriately;focusing on creating a harmonious working environment.Basing on dialyzing teacher H's teaching behavior and its characteristics, this research provides a profound consideration from the following three aspects:the factors influencing teacher H's teaching behavior; the effect of teacher H's teaching behavior; the advantages and disadvantages of teacher H's teaching behavior. |
