Modern educational technology is a breakthrough in global education reform. With comprehensive and in-depth development of education information and education reform, modern educational technology plays an increasingly important role in the promotion of quality education, of information literacy, of the modernization of education and of teachers'professional development as well as in cultivating creative talents. In order to be able to accommodate themselves to and manage the changes brought about by the application of technology in education, teachers must grasp and apply modern educational technology.At present, China vigorously promotes the development of vocational education, which marks a new milestone set in the development of vocational education. The training goal of vocational education is to develop technique-applied-oriented talents, therefore, vocational teaching must stress on training students'practical skills and innovative capacity. In this regard, the application of modern technology has an unparalleled advantage over traditional teaching methods. Hence it is necessary to strengthen modern education technology training of second vocational school teachers.School-based training is an effective in-service education means to promote teachers'professional capacity. Under the guidance of the educational administrative departments and the concerned departments, school-based training is a continual education way, which takes the school teachers serve at present as the basic unit, aims to improve teachers'professional competence and tightly combine the training with teaching and research activities. School-based training has the strong characteristics of relevance, flexibility, diversity, effectiveness, economy, etc. therefore it becomes an important form of technical training to secondary vocational school teachers.In this paper, the author takes Weifang Ocean Chemical School for an example. By investigating and interviewing the modern educational technology status and the previous training situation of teachers in the form of questionnaires, we analyze the existing problems, put forward the implementation strategies of educational technology school-based training programs of secondary vocational school teachers, combined with the school's reality and elaborate the implementation situation. Through research, the points obtained are: School-based vocational training is an effective way for training technical school teachers; Training needs of teachers participating in the training is basic starting point for school-based training; Flexible and diverse training methods (such as the free-chosen centralized training, teaching-rehearsal methods and observation and evaluation method, etc.) is an effective way for technology-based training of secondary vocational school teachers; Timely and effective feedback rating guarantees the modern educational technology training of secondary vocational school teachers to be carried out smoothly.The paper consists of five parts:Part I outlines the background and significance of school-based teacher training of modern educational technology, as well as the status and problems of current research, which provides a realistic basis for the following research.Part II discusses the theories of modern educational technology and school-based training, including the implications and meaning of educational technology, as well as the meaning, connotation and characteristics of school-based training.Part III analyzes the modern technical capability status and past training situation of Weifang Ocean Chemical School, by adding up the questionnaire survey and interview results, as well as generalizes the problems.Part IV proposes the school-based training program of educational technology for Weifang Ocean Chemical School teachers, combined with investigation findings and school practice, elaborates the design of the program and the situation of its implementation, and finally sums up the achievements of school-based training activities and its deficiencies.Finally, Part V outlines the conclusions and prospects for further work.
