The Study Of Relation Between The Progress Of Science And Technology And Employment Of College Students

While the Science and technology is in raising labor productivity, the requirements to the quality of workers are also higher. In China's overall situation of low quality of the labor, however the students with higher education qualifications are difficult to get a job. In order to find the root of this problem, this paper studies the relationship between employment of college students and the progress of science.Besides the introduction, this paper has three main chapters. After the introduction, the second chapter tries to find the relation between the scientific and technological progress and employment of college students in theory. In view of that college students are the integral part of the labor force, this section is looking forward to find the impact of the science and technology progress on the overall employment of labor and employment structure. The followed section, according to the characteristics of the employment of college students, analysis the impact of scientific and technological progress on it. According to this analysis, this paper thinks there is no help for skills-substitute scientific and technological progress to improve college students employment, since such progress only helps to improve the employment of low-skilled labor force.
