Research On Gratitude Education For Modern Teenagers

Gratitude is a Chinese traditional virtue.We all be educated that "Drop the boon of the water, be to flow out spring to report mutually,who says the little soul of grass waving,could for the warmth repay the sun of spring, Indebted to non-reporting of non-gentlemanly." Gratitude is not only the repay for our parents,but also for others and our society.It reflects a responsibility. Therefore,enhancing the gratitude education to the young people is not only benefical to carrying forward and developing Chinese traditional virtue and building a harmonious soceity,but also to raising the young people's ideological and moral standards.With the rapid development of Chinese economy,the pressure of competition is increasingly decreased.Besides, because of the shock of multiculture, the young people have little gratitude awareness..Some experts,teachers and workers of moral education also make some preliminary discussion from theory and practice. On the basis of the references of early stage gratitude education research,according to the anaalysis of the present situation and problems,the author attempts to build a new gratitude culture and found a scientific and effective gratitude education system,hopes to arouse attention of the socity, offer reference and hint for the enforcement of gratitude education, promote the efficiency of gratitude education,make the young people pursuit the truth,kindness and pretty.This article will investigate from these aspects below:the first part, study the intension and extenstion of gratitude and gratitude education on the basis of Chinese traditional literature and the characteristics of the epoch.And discuss the important meaning of enforcement of gratitude education from three aspects:the heritage of traditional Chinese culture,the construcion of harmonious socity and the overall development of young people. The second part introduces the weakness of gratitude at present from three aspects:the relationship within oneself,the relationship between man and man,and the relationship between man and circumstance.And tries to analyse the causes of these phenomena.The third part is about the main content and basic principles,and effective measures of gratitude education,such as building a new gratitude culture, founding a scientific and effective gratitude education system,implementing the effective assessment of gratitude education, commanding gratitude education with socialist concept of honor and disgrace and developing the chatity and so on.
