The quality and effectiveness are the eternal theme of education, No quality and efficiency of education, no value. So the educational quality of good or bad and the efficiency of high or low are not only related to the success of the reform of education itself, but also personnel training and social development needs. In this context, the study highlights special practical significance of effective teaching.Being an important subject undertaking a function of development human culture, history course is looked on as a less important subject because of the impact of university entrance examination and utilitarianism which have long been undervalued in the secondary education. Therefore, students consider it dispensable, and teachers lack teaching motivation, This situation has seriously affected the educational function of history curriculum to play. So it is imperative for use to change this negative teaching state. With a new round of curriculum reform carrying out in the country, the teaching of history acquire a development opportunities and the direction of reform. Today, effective teaching, an advanced educational philosophy, are accepted by teachers more and more. However, due to the lack of effective teaching strategies, which may provide support and guidance for teachers, there are some inefficient or ineffective behavior during teaching, and thus directly affect the implementation of effective teaching. Therefore, to explore effective teaching strategies which may be a bridge and act as the role of an intermediary for effective teaching and to play technical support for effective teaching is very important practical significance.This article discusses six parts started. Part I: Introduction. Focuses on effective teaching, including research situation and research purposes, meaning and content. Part II: the basic concept of effective teaching. To form the basic understanding of effective teaching, the paper mainly explains the meaning, the basic characteristics and the basic factors affecting effective teaching. Part III: Effective teaching strategies based on the concept and basis for the formlation. Explaining the concepts involved,such as the strategies, teaching strategies and effective teaching strategies. According to the basic characteristics of teaching activities, the article discusses the basis for developing effective teaching strategies from three aspects of teaching goals, teachers and students. Part IV: senior history teaching problems and analysis. According to the principle of integrating theory with practice, this paper mainly analyzes problems in teaching of history, in particular the teaching objectives, teaching content, interactive process, teaching methods and evaluation methods that exist in some of the problems in the section. Part V: senior history teaching strategies and effective implementation. In order to build a complete senior history of effective teaching strategies, the article is divided into four parts: teaching preparation strategies, teaching behavioral strategies, classroom management strategies and teaching assessment strategies on the basis of the use of new educational theories and classroom management science research. Part VI: Conclusion. Mainly express some doubts in author's paper and the direction of future efforts.
