The research of this thesis is about the students in class6in Bangladesh International tutorial. This paper surveyed the students from five aspects:the basic knowledge of Chinese pinyin, the pronunciation of initials, the pronunciation of finals,the Chinese four tones and the tone changes in sentence.The author gets the original data by some questionnaires and voice recording, the data show some problems about the students’phonetic learning:on the basic knowledge of pinyin, the students are not good at the rules of tone marking, the rules about the collocation of initials and finals, the writing rules of zero initial syllables;on the pronunciation of initials and finals, there are7initials and11finals, their error rates are greater than or equal to50%,the general error rate is a little high; on the four tones, the order from the highest error rate to the lowest is:the forth tone(64.3%)>the first tone(62.9%)>the third tone(59%)>the second tone(48.3%);on the tone changes in sentence, the order from the highest error rate to the lowest is:light tones(90.5%)>the third tone changes(38%)>retroflex suffixation(4%).According to analyzing the data,the author finds some error causes. What is more,the author gives some specific teaching suggestions and improvements about students’phonetic learning from four aspects:teachers, textbooks,English negative transfer, and the school management.The thesis consists of five parts:The first part, introduction. Introduces the background, reasons, significance, status, ideas, methods of research, and the experimental steps and the use of software are introduced.The second part, research and analysis of phonetic errors. Take a research of the students in class6from five aspects:the basic knowledge of Chinese pinyin, the pronunciation of initials, the pronunciation of finals,the Chinese four tones and the tone changes in sentence. Then have an analysis of the statistical and survey data.The third part, the cause analysis of the phonetic errors. Take an analysis of students’phonetic errors in class6from four aspects:teachers, textbooks,English negative transfer, and the school management.The forth part, the teaching Suggestions based on the analysis of phonetic errors.Give some specific teaching suggestions and improvements about students’ phonetic learning from four aspects:teachers, textbooks,English negative transfer, and the school management.The fifth part, conclusion. Summarizing the reasons choosing this thesis topic, statistics and research results,also summarize the deficiencies that exist in the present study.
