| This study researches into the Robinnowitz & Hall synthesized theoretical model impact of individual trait(self-efficacy,motivation to success,achievement motivation,vocational delay of gratification) on the job involvement.From the individual standpoint to explore the personal factors that affect job involvement,it's beneficial to improve workers personal qualities and their enthusiasm for job involvement so as to improve enterprise's competence.This study used survey methods to investigate fore corporations,a total of 650 questionnaires were delivered.Several statistics methods,such as correlation analysis, regression analysis are used to discuss the relationship between dependent variables and job engagement.The results indicate that:(1)The job involvement of enterprise employees' overall state is better.The enterprise employees of different sex are prominent differences on job involvement.Viewed from working years,job involvement had a descending trend with the growth of the working years. The job involvement level of each position form highest to lowest ranges as follows: professional employees,manage employees,technical employees,Production employees.(2)There were significant positive correlation(0.383,0.380,0.427,0.437 p<0.01)between the motivation to success and work delay of gratification,career delay of gratification.There were significant positive correlation(0.427,0.437 p<0.01)between the self-efficacy and work delay of gratification,career delay of gratification.But there were significant negative correlation(-0.114,-0.125,p<0.05) between the motivation to avoid defeat and delay of gratification,career delay of gratification.(3)There were significant correlation(0.296 to 0.495,p<0.01)between self-efficacy, motivation to success,achievement motivation,vocational delay of gratification and the job involvement,job involvement three attribution style dimensions;But there were significant negative correlation(0.221 to 0.280,p<0.01)between motivation to avoid defeat and job involvement,job involvement three attribution style dimensions.(4)The job involvement of enterprise employees could be better predicted by self-efficacy, motivation to success and motivation to avoid defeat.Self-efficacy and motivation to success all have positive predictive ability to job involvement;Motivation to avoid defeat have negative predictive ability to job involvement.(5)There was significantly positive correlation between work delay of gratification,career delay of gratification and job involvement.The job involvement could be better predicted by work delay of gratification and career delay of gratification.Self-efficacy and motivation to success not only impact on job involvement directly,but also impact on job involvement indirectly through the medium of work delay of gratification and career delay of gratification. The work delay of gratification and career delay of gratification are mediator between self-efficacy, achievement motivation and job involvement. |
