As research continues to expand, there is more and moreattention on the delay of gratification in career, the humanemanagement of business management more and more dominant.Long Lirong study found that employees as a corporate subject,individual career management (ICM) of employees career successthere is a significant predictor of role. This paper aims to study therelationship between employees achievement motivation, individualcareer management and vocational delay of gratification(VDOG),This research through《Achievement Motivation Scale(AMS)》,《VDOG》,and《ICM》survey of 413 Serving staff, andinspected enterprises serving staff ICM, achievement motivation,and VDOG in different gender, type of work to meet thecharacteristics and analysis of the relationship between, concludedas follows:Vocational Delay of Gratification in age, type of work, workexperience, nature of work these four demographic variables thereare significant differences, there is no significant difference ingender.Career goals and strategies and vocational delay of gratification each dimension were positively related. Career exploration, careerdelay of gratification and Vocational Delay of gratification werepositively correlated, and was not significantly correlated to theworking delay of gratification. Continue to learn, pay attention tothe relationship, self-presentation as well as individual careermanagement and each dimension of vocational delay ofgratification was positively correlated.Pursuit of success, achievement motivation and each dimensionof vocational delay of gratification was a positive correlation. Toavoid failure and working delay of gratification was positivelycorrelated, and the career delay of gratification was negativelyrelated, and to Vocational Delay of gratification is not significant.Achievement motivation, with career goals and strategies, tocontinue learning, focus on relationships, individual careermanagement were positively correlated, with career exploration,self-presentation two dimensions was not significantly correlated.It’s showed significant positive correlation pursuit of success and,five dimensions of individual career management and total scores.To avoid failure, career goals and strategies was a significantnegative correlation, with the other four dimensions and individualcareer management score was no significant related.Individual career management is from the part of theintermediary role in the achievement motivation to career to VDOG.Continue to learn is from the part of the intermediary role in thepursuit of success to VDOG, and working delay of gratification.Career goals and strategies are from the part of the intermediaryrole in the pursuit of the success to career to delay gratification.
