| It is indisputable that China’s employment situation remains grim and the competition for jobs is increasing.As we all know,the delay of gratification will reduce the company’s staff mobility and the cost of enterprise,so there are more and more attention has been paid on the research in the field of delay of gratification.This study adopts random sampling method,and 327 enterprise staffs from Harbin,Tsingtao and Hangzhou were surveyed as the object of study by questionnaire on the internet and the reality of the questionnaire.With "Career Decision Making Self-efficacy Scale”,“Employees’ Achievement Motivation Scale”,“Vocational Delay of Gratification " as research tools,this research explores the relationships of enterprise staffs’ career decision making self-efficacy,achievement motivation and vocational delay of gratification.This research shows the followings:(1)The overall level of achievement motivation,vocational delay of gratification and career decision-making self-efficacy of enterprise staffs is high,in the middle to upper on the whole.(2)The enterprise staffs’ decision-making self-efficacy is significantly different in gender and salary,but the difference in age,nature of work,collage level and working experience is not significant.The achievement motivation is significantly different in gender age and the nature of work,but there is no significantly difference among working experience,collage level,salary;Work delay of gratification is significantly different in gender,nature of work,vocational delay of gratification is no significant difference in the demographic variables.(3)The enterprise staffs’ decision-making self-efficacy is significantly positive correlated with achievement motivation.There is also a significant positive correlation between achievement motivation and vocational delay of gratification;and decision-making self-efficacy is significantly positively related with vocational delay of gratification.(4)Decision-making self-efficacy can be used to predict achievement motivation and the achievement motivation can be used to predict vocational delay of gratification.(5)Achievement motivation plays an completely intermediating role between decision-making self-efficacy and vocational delay of gratification. |
