Science And Technology, Policy, And The Pursuit Of Sustainability

This report is based on the translation of protecting future people: the motivation problem, one part of Energy: Science, Policy, and the Pursuit of Sustainability, which involves the content of sustainability. The author attempts to explore translation strategies from the perspectives of special vocabulary, sentence and discourse. The parallel text is used in the translation. The method of reading out the Chinese text aloud is proposed to deal with Europeanized Chinese. The author also discusses the experiences and lessons gained from the task, aiming at providing a solution to the translation of similar texts and making translations more accurate.
