Research On Marked Rhetorical Questions In Modern Chinese

Rhetorical Question of Modern Chinese is a kind of unique and common question sentence.Previous scholars have systematically investigated on all levels and form all angles,which have made abundant results.Modern Chinese marked rhetorical question is an important part of rhetorical question.With the in-depth study of rhetorical questions in academic circles,the modern Chinese rhetorical question mark is increasingly attracting the attention of many scholars and study of its,which have achieved remarkable results.This paper mainly from the following three layer face marked rhetorical question conducts the system research:the unique structure form level,cognitive linguistics perspective and the pragmatic effect level,so that people on the rhetorical question mark and marked rhetorical question form a more comprehensive understanding.The paper is divided into four parts,as follows:(a) Introduction.Establish and introduces research object of this paper and describe the present research statues of the object of study.Then elaborated the train of thought and the significance of the research in detail,and introduces the use of data source and research method of this paper selected as well as the symbol.(b)The type structural markup sentence mainly introduced the first chapter.The only structure of rhetorical questions,which we call “only rhetorical structure”.First of all,introduce the identification effect only rhetorical structure of sentence.The only question structure is an important aspect of our recognition of the rhetorical question,also from the form of interrogative sentences and rhetorical questions are one of the screening way.Secondly,we classify the integration according to the types of characteristics of each only ask format consists mainly of the rhetorical question mark,a total of 4 major categories of 28 kinds of.Finally,introduce some identification rhetorical non form factors,such as context,stress,intonation,knowledge factor and interpersonal factors etc..(c)The second chapter from the perspective of systemic functional linguistics,in addition to the realization of the rhetorical question their speech function,using the theory of metaphors of mood in-depth exploration of marked rhetorical question in the interrogative of declarative sentences,imperative sentences,exclamatory implementation and interrogative sentence and other types of language function.In addition,this chapter also discusses in detail the adverb,negative words and may the strengthening effect verbs rhetorical question mark on the rhetorical mood.Of course,the research on marked rhetorical question for cognitive level also for us in the real speech communication more flexible use of rhetorical question provides a better theoretical guidelines.(d)The third chapter from the perspective of conversational implicature and polite angle discusses marked rhetorical question generated language effect.First of all,we draw the conclusion according to the marked the rhetorical question of the violation of the maxim of manner and produce conversational implicature is a common characteristic marked rhetorical question,conversational implicature and by other criteria of the violation of cooperative principle produces is a specific personality characteristics have marked rhetorical question sentence.Secondly,we use the example analysis and the analysis of transform method from showing the interpersonal relationship and strengthen the emotion attitude and view of two marked rhetorical question on conversational implicature strengthening effect.Finally,for the marked rhetorical question of concrete analysis of concrete problems that rhetorical question has two sides,both may face threats,it is not polite too;also may save face,be polite.Obviously,from the angle of pragmatic effect study of modern Chinese marked rhetorical question,have certain guidance meaning on the one hand,on the other hand,in the actual speech communication has higher application value.
