As the typical causative sentence in modern Chinese, "shi" sentence, with the high frequency of utilization, is always regarded as the most important language in teaching Chinese as a second language. However, the author found the situation of "shi" sentence acquisition would not be optimistic. Therefore, in order to make better guidance to TCSL, this thesis will combine ontology research with acquisition analysis, trying to make a deep insight into "shi" sentence acquisition characteristics and regulations.The thesis contains six chapters. The first chapter talks about the current situation about "shi" sentence acquisition. It is necessary to make an analysis on "shi" sentence in TCSL, which can decrease the acquisition errors. Then the second chapter focus on "shi" sentence’ontology research, and make a analysis and comparison with "rang" sentence and "ba" sentence, stating their using difference, which can provide theoretical foundation for acquisition error analysis. The following chapter mainly lists and analyzes the six error categories of "shi" sentence from the "HSK Composition Corpus": missing, misuse of synonymous sentences, mis-adding, mis-order and semantics repetition and so on, as well as a statistics form at the end of the third chapter. Based on the data, the forth chapter makes further explanation to testing results, according to the questionnaire designed. After analyzing the testing results. We finds out there reasons of the acquisition errors:1.negative transfer influence of native language; 2.influence of the target language; 3 influence of teaching material. In the fifth chapter, the thesis comes up with following countermeasures. On one hand, paying more attention to the arrangement of teaching material; using many kinds of practice forms, On the other hand, enhancing the contrast and analysis in inter-language; highlighting the sentence semantic and strengthening the contract of synonymous sentences. It makes a conclusion in the last chapter as well as points some research disadvantages in this thesis.
