In this paper, we first introduce the language block and the language chunk teaching, and combine the characteristics of the Chinese language, from the concept and characteristics of the text block and its connection with the language unit. And combined with the actual situation of Chinese language teaching and the theory results of the present study, the text of the primary "Chinese reading and writing course" published by Peking University press is analyzed, and the Chinese language chunk is collected, which is divided into two categories: lexical chunk and sentence level. Lexical chunks include three categories: fixed chunks, collocation block, and box type. The sentence level chunks include three types of chunk, frame, and common sentence. In addition, in order to further understand the role and effect of the teaching method in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, I also chose three levels of the students in the class to carry out a half- and half- month teaching experiment. And according to the collected data of student work, questionnaire and HSK dynamic corpus, the text is a new teaching method which is worth promoting in the teaching of foreign language teaching. At last, we point out the advantages and disadvantages of the method and some teaching suggestions on it.This paper hopes to promote the application of the lexical chunk teaching method in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language, so as to promote the development of foreign language writing.
