Obstacles And Countermeasures Caused By Cultural Differences In Contact Interpreting

The thesis bases on the writer’s liaison interpreting practice of the activities at the 20 th anniversary of Mongolian Ikh Zasag International University. It mainly analyzes the interpreting difficulties caused by culture shocks when two languages conversion or three languages conversion and then provides some coping Strategies. The thesis firstly talks about the background, content and classification of the liaison interpreting practice. Then the thesis describes how well the writer prepared for this liaison interpreting practice. Thirdly, the thesis analyzes the interpreting difficulties and obstacles caused by culture differences. Finally, the thesis gives out five suggestions to solve these difficulties.
