For a long time, adverb has always been a difficult point in the teaching Chinese as a second language. Meanwhile, the scope adverb is a special category of adverb, it has caused a great many troubles to international students because of its abstraction and complexity. "Dou" and "Quan" as common words in the adverb of scope, students will always make errors when they learning the two words, no matter what level they are.The main content of the essay is divided into three sections: The first part gives some supplements to the scope adverb "Dou" and "Quan" on the basis of previous studies; in the second part, according to the error corpus and the results of questionnaire survey, we made an analysis of the errors of "Dou" and "Quan" in the foreign students’ acquisition. After that, we summed up the types of error and the reasons for error. In the last part, we put forward some teaching suggestions in the light of the students’ errors. We hope that these suggestions can provide a reference to future teaching on scope adverb “Dou” and “Quan”.
