An Analysis Of The Causes Of Group Events And Their Solutions

The transitional China society has stepped into a golden period of development, but also into the high risk period. Because the increasingly high occurrence of mass incidents continues to make pressure on the government as well as society., this situation is not only reflected in the whole country, but also in Jiangsu Province, which has developed economy and culture. This paper tries to analyze the characteristics and trends of the current group events, exploring the deep-seated reasons behind it and clarifying the mechanism of mass incidents so as to prevent or reduce the occurrence of mass events from the roots.This paper starts from the basic concepts as well as theoretical basis, and then takes Jiangsu Province as an example, trying to analysis the increasingly obvious characteristics and trends of group incidents. In order to control and reduce such incidents, this paper attempts to explore the mechanism of mass incidents by analyzing the reasons from social, economic, political, legal and psychological angles. Derived from the typical case, the mechanism can be described as this:the emergence of sporadic events, slow reflection of grass roots, non-direct stakeholder’s involvement and escalation expand. Based on all above, this paper proposed multi-angle corresponding measures to prevent the occurrence of mass incidents in all aspects, including the reform of the petition system, the role of non-governmental organizations, promote class mobility and the government reform.The country’s prosperity exists with people’s security. Establishing a set of mechanisms for coordination of social contradictions is an important task for building a harmonious society. We should pay more attention to understand and deal with social conflicts correctly. Evading or suppressing these conflicts blindly will only make up them more and more. So the ability to deal with these contradictions directly related to the rise and fall of the reform and opening up.
