Study On Mechanism Of The Occurrence Of Mass Incidents In China

With the continuous development of market economy, our country’s economy has made remarkable achievements. With highly stable politics. people’s living standard is also improved. While, our society breeds the contradictions which comes up with unrest, instead of achieving social stability and security. Intensified social conflicts, frequent occurrence of mass incidents give negative influence to social stability and development. Although the government has paid highly attention on managing mass disturbance and established a special stability mechanism to deal with, it can only maintain society stability on the surface, and the contradiction did not resolved from the root, which kept a hidden danger for the occurrence of mass incidents.This article is based on our country is being on transition period and frequent occurrence of mass incidents, to explore the occurrence mechanism of mass incidents.First, to define the mass incidents, the reason and effects on the basis of integrating related western social movement theory; Second, introducing typical mass disturbances since2003. and analyzing the type, nature, variation trend;Third. explaining the occurring mechanism from the direct cause of mass incidents and structural reasons two aspects:Fourth, analyzing the effectiveness of governance on existing mass incidents from management goal, means, effect and existing problems; Finally, putting forward the governance choice on mass incidents, including the action of changing the existing thinking on stability, changing the traditional pattern of social management, establishing a multivariate body participation mechanism, developing a various of social organizations, freeing expression channel of people’s interest systemizing public interest.In a word, to achieve social stability and security, only to change thinking, to action with an objective view on the current interests, to free the expression channels: to dissolve the contradiction from the roots, can maintain social stability effectively.
