Research On Career Management Of Civil Service In Customs System

As a new and open-minded modern human resources management idea, career management can not only help civil servants to realize occupation development goals, but also improve the level of human resources development and enhance the work efficiency and the management level of the administrative organization. However, occupation development of civil servants, especially that of customs officials does not get enough attention. The simple and generalized mode of management seriously restricts their personal career development. Moreover, in recent years, external enforcement environment became increasingly complex, customs official felt more and more pressure arisen from increasingly high demand of the society. Many career development problem such as job burnout、 development power inadequacy、weakened competitiveness surfaced. All these cause customs functions and work efficiency severely affected.In order to change the status quo, the author hopes to realize the customs business development and the customs official career development in a win-win way through career management research. In this study, the author first summarizes and theoretically analyses the theory of career management both at home and abroad, and also introduces the foreign occupation career management experience. Secondly, the author takes Gongbei Customs as an example, to investigate common problems in customs official occupation development and causes. Lastly, to improve the existing management, the author puts forward train of thought and countermeasure on the occupation career management, designs the career development channel, and also elaborates the key link between occupation career management and stage management concept.
