The aging of the global population will broadly and dramatically change all sectors of business and everyone’s life. As the demographic increasingly shift from being net contributors to net users of capital and other resources, it is vital to seek balance to ensure our culture value and social structure remains intact. From fountain pen, type writer, computer to voice command, the modern evolution of mankind seemed to keep everyone too busy to keep up with the essential fundamentals. When the social minority quietly became the influential majority, what it entails is not only abundant business opportunities yet tremendous social responsibilities. Countries who faced the issue has long started the preparation for this major demographic shift, for those who are still searching the best way to adopt must realize that the complexity and difficulty requires lengthy process of trial and error. This research analyzes various systems used around the world, adding author’s own observation through personal experiences in both Taiwan and the U. S. to conclude with the recommendations. It’s important to remember that a facility must accurately provide what the society and culture needs. A facility which offers all members with comfort and convenience, a facility which integrate into our community as a whole, a facility which will operate and prosper at its best, that’s the senior community we need. There are also many financial resources that were either lack in consideration or ill-informed. The government is addressing the problem in a myopic way with burdens from the past; some grass root education may be required to turn things around. The concept of buying a property and insurance is to add protection for the present and future. These protections often befit the descendant/inheritor than the owner/insurer in the past. They are important financial resources which have been long neglected by misconception.
