| In today’s society, the terrorism keeps raging, which severely endangering thesafety of lives and property of people. Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the firstinternational organization advocated and established by China, which is aimed at anti-terrorism and treat it as its direct and main target. For that reason, SCO have built anddeveloped its legal mechanism for anti-terrorism, forming a distinctive regional anti-terrorism organization and some specialized legal documents on anti-terrorism.During this fourteen years of development, mechanism for anti-terrorism of SCO hasmade great progress, nevertheless, because of the fact that there exist differencebetween countries, the mechanism for anti-terrorism is not ripe enough, and thesituation of anti-terrorism keeps changing, the mechanism for anti-terrorism beginsto have problems when it is operating.The article is aimed at finding and researching these problems and try to come upwith solutions, which may help SCO to play a role more effectively on anti-terrorismand maintaining regional security in the future. |
