Economy And Development On Shaanxi Apple Industry

Loess Plateau in Weibei area of Shaanxi province is the famous apple producing area in the world, apple production occupies the very important place in the development of Shaanxi rural e-conomy. But some problems are still exiting at present such as fruit sale slowly and difficultly on the market, a lower fruit price and lower benefit of fruit growers.This paper proposed the significance, direction and content of the researchaboutapple industry economy by data search and investigation on the base of current situation and development of apple industry economy both at home and abroad, anddiscussed the affecting factors, the supply and demand rule, and the price ruleof apple market about apple industry economy from both micro and macro view.The main problems in Shaanxi apple industry economy and development are analyzed and presented as follows: high density canopy and unreasonable tree form, bending branch lightly, unreasonable fertilization, unguaranteed fruit security; incomplete infrastructure and water shortage that are restricting fruit industry development; the insufficient orchard area per fruit grower or householder, insufficient investment, lower benefit; single fruit cultivars that is lacking of diversification and reasonable ripe period; incomplete and ineffective agriculture extension system, lower fruit grower education; inefficiency market system, fruit selling slowly and lower fruit grower's income; lower apple industrialization, incomplete quality control and standard, few large key enterprise, all of these factors are the main reasons that causing poor fruit quality, difficulty of fruit selling and lower income.On the base of the area, output, the rate of quality apple, gross of export and income of fruit grower that are facing in Shaanxi apple industry, combining with the advantages of the nature resource, the main strategy that develop shannxi apple industry economy are proposed as follows: popularize the four key techniques to improve fruit quality and the rate of the market apple; establish the ecological apple industry economy by implementing cycling economic model by combining apple production with goat raising or feeding; increase invest on infrastructure at fruit producing area to enhance the ability of resisting the nature disaster; exploit the national free transportation pass for fruits to increase fruit sale; innovate the rules of production and the management to improve the efficiency of production and management; establish the credit insurance system and put the apple insurance into the finance support system of the government; strengthen the research on key techniques for high quality apple production to provide innovative technology for production; strengthen the training program for the apple grower to enhance their ability of production and market. In the end, the goal and the content of the four key techniques of modifying tree form heavily, bending branch greatly, reasonable fertilization and spraying environmental— friendly chemicals that improve apple industry economy were explained briefly.
