The Study On Development Strategy Of Kailuan Railway Transport Corp

Kailuan Railway Transportation Corp (herein after called "KT Enterprise") isone of the most important parts in Kailuan's production economic operation. So thedevelopment of Kailuan will be influenced by KT Enterprise development greatly.Today competition becomes more and more fierce. How to seek opportunities, dealwith challenges and make KT Enterprise more splendid, it is an important and urgenttask of KT Enterprise.In this paper, the present conditions of KT Enterprise about the external andinternal factors , and the development status of management mode of the railwaytransportation enterprises both in China and abroad are analysed . Based on suchanalysis this thesis the development strategies for KT Enterprise is presented.In chapter 1, the present conditions of KT Enterprise are introduced;thedevelopment status of foreign and domestic railway transportation enterprise isanalysed;the aim of the thesis and the train of thought of the thesis are given. Inchapter 2, qualitative analysis about the external surroundings of KT Enterprise ismade in detail. In chapter 3, qualitative analysis of internal surroundings of KTEnterprise is made. By means of external factors evaluation (EFE) matrix, thequantative analysis of the enterprise external surroundings is completed in chapter 4.In chapter 5, by the application of internal factor evaluation (IFE) matrix the internalsurroundings of KT Enterprise are analysed quantitatively. In chapter 6, thedevelopment strategy for the KT Enterprise are determined and evaluated based onSWOT method. In chapter 7 the strategy implement scheme, including centralizedmanagement, management separation of railway network from railway transportationmanagement, enlarging business scope, multi –orientations development andenterprise culture construction, is put forward.
