In the face of human increasing of awareness of health, environment protection andharmful substance, a lot of developed countries and regions have given lots of regulations,such as RoHS (2002/95/EC) for executing Lead Free. How to do it for the electronicproduct manufacturers? This thesis provides an idea for companies, especially mediumsize and small companies, which turn original production into lead free production. Thethesis firstly makes some introduction of Lead Free production system, and secondlyprovides a detail from preparation of Lead Free production to implementation, finallyintroduces some improvement measures on some aspects of Lead Free soldering qualityproblem.During switch to Lead Free production, its key point is soldering quality reduce dueto Lead Free soldering temperature higher than before, how to improve the quality ofsoldering is concerns of enterprises and their customers. The thesis is an example on howto increase the product yield of Lead Free wave soldering, introduce how to put the 6σmanagement flow such as DMAIC and some statistical quality management theories andmethods into its practice of quality improvement. The author hopes that the thesis canprovide some ideas for the enterprises planning push Lead Free production.
