Research On The Situation Of Chinese Enterprises Which Push Forward TPS

Toyota Production System (TPS) is such an effective and famous production-stylein automobile industry, and also has great effect on all other industries. In early 1980's,TPS has been introduced to and sbsorbed in Chinese corporations, but with littleeffect. After a particular analysis, the author gives a sole opinion to the problem.This paper begin with introduction about TPS, after expatiating TPS, it analyzessome shortcomings in accepting TPS for Chinese enterprises by setting Toyota seriescorporations in Tianjin as delegates, meanwhile, it concludes some mistakes.According to above mistakes, in author's opinion, firstly, an enterprise shouldhave definite orientation about corporate strategy when adopting TPS;as long as weconsider low-cost strategy as developing strategy for own enterprise, it can havesolid base. Secondly, by combining such concept as "zero storage" that TPSsparkplugs , author puts forward some opinions that we should push TPS's outerenvironment by recombining and optimizing supply chain ,especially when facingsome common phenomenons that the good and bad are intermingled for providers inchina , author also brings forward solution comparing with Toyota provider systemand integrating some idiographic examples , at the same time, we should meet someinterior needs in order to adopt TPS for enterprises by setting up or rebuilding newsupply chain which is suitable for enterprise's practical circs. Lastly, author points outthat it is necessary to set up right corporate culture for the purpose of adopting TPSfor long, and that necessary corporate culture may have great effect on TPS, but it isnodus when corporations adopt TPS in China.This paper makes a impersonal analysis about adopting TPS in Chinesecorporation especially for Tianjin Toyota series enterprises, it also puts forward basepoint ,emphases and nodus practically even reply measures. This paper is meaningfulfor automobile industry and some large companies, in addition, it is an importantreference worthiness in ameliorating production operational system for mostcorporations.
