With the fierce competition in construction industry and the establishment of modern corporation system, competition between companies become far more than partial competition, but competition of corporation's whole strength including corporation culture and corporation image. In such condition, construction companies especially need powerful corporation culture as support. Large construction groups, as the pillar of the whole industry, particularly need to strengthen their building of corporation culture, which is significant to enhance economic and social effect, and to raise competitive force of a group. Only in this way, can a construction group obtain its competition advantages.The theme of this paper lied in the establishment of corporation culture in construction group, by using research methods of combining theory and practice, comparing, system analysis and case analysis. The paper firstly analyzed the status quo of establishing corporation culture in construction group, elucidated the significance of the research, both in theory and in practice. It, then, made an exposition of related theories about corporation culture, including the definition, function, structure and characteristics of corporation culture. From the results of comparing the foreign and domestic corporation cultures, the paper summarized their characteristics by generalizing the developing situation of corporation culture in developed countries, and thus, put forward experience and enlightenment for the building of our corporation culture. The paper continued to give forth the countermeasure for construction group to build its corporation culture. In this section, it introduced the definition and characteristics of construction group and its corporation culture which is unique and various. In order to avoid the conflict of corporation culture, the paper gave out three models, which were discussed later, for building corporation culture. The three models were culture transplant, culture integration and culture separation. The fifth chapter, by means of case research, made analysis about the corporation culture of Beijing Urban Construction Group, with the order of supporting opinions about building corporation culture concerning construction group given above. The final chapter drew conclusion of the whole paper, in the meanwhile made prospects for the research in the establishment of corporation culture concerning construction group. The paper would give a reference to help construction group build its culture.
