Design And Application Of The Indicator System Of Urban Sustainable Development In Qingdao City

This thesis, based on extensive and all-round research documents, selecting Qingdao city as study's case, looks insight into comprehensive evaluation of Qingdao urban sustainable development from 2000 to 2004 after setting up an indicator system. Then, the sustainable development situation of 2005 is forecasted.First of all, the thesis reviews the definition of the Indicator system of urban sustainable development, points out its importance, and discusses the studies of the indicator system of urban sustainable development in china and other countries. Then, the thesis brings a new recognition and boundary of it, which gives the whole background of theories and methods of the paper. On the basis of the theories of the indicator system of urban sustainable development, according to the situation in Qingdao, we have designed the indicator system of Qingdao sustainable development, which applying the principles of science, operability, layer, maturity, concision and particularity. The system has three layers: field layer, indicator layer and variable layer, which shows the multilayer framework.Secondly, aiming at unifying dimensions of all kinds of indexes, the paper makes the standard treatment. The paper gets scores of each index by theAnalytic Hierarchy Process and calculates the sustainable development degree of Qingdao from 2001 to 2004, which let 2000 as datum year, by add-weigh model. The main results are : Qingdao has maintained a sustainable development from 2001 to 2004;a harmonious condition now is kept among economy, society and environment. Then , the paper give three analysis: the relativity between GDP rise rate and sustainable development degree, the most eight pivotal indexes in the indicator system, the development current of the three field.Finally, the paper forecast the sustainable development degree in 2005 by GM(1,1) model, and make out the sustainable development current from 2000 to 2005.
