Study On Development Strategy Of China's Foreign Petroleum Trade

Therefore, the development of China's foreign petroleum trade has been one of the most important issues, which faced by the sustainable development of China's politic and economy in the 21st century. Especially, since 2002, China's oil gap of supply and demands expand dramatically, oil import increasing, petroleum foreign dependence constantly rising, and international oil price runing up in 2004, therefore, we have to think it over once again on the development strategy of China's foreign petroleum trade.Distribution of world oil resources and development of politic and economy in the world, which contributed to the unique pattern of international petroleum trade. China's oil resources has a certain proportion of the total oil resources in the world, however, taking the reality into account that China has large population and its politic and economy is at the critical period of development, China's foreign petroleum trade will further accelerate development in the international petroleum market. This paper analysis the status of China's petroleum foreign trade in the international petroleum market through analysising oil resources in the world and the present situation of the international petroleum trade. Then further analysis the situation of China's oil resources, summarize the developing process of China's foreign petroleum trade, has a comprehensive analysis of China's foreign petroleum trade. The analysis focuses on the trade pattern, sources of import and export, changes structure of import and export and transport channel of import, etc. On this basis, this paper has a comprehensive analysis on development strategy of China's. foreign petroleum trade. Especifically, analysis the exisiting problems and influencing factors using a series of data. Ultimately, mainly in the control of domestic demand, increasing oil supply, the establishment of petroleum reserves, ithas deeply reflection. Especially, from the perspective of politic and economy interdependence and by using the theory of "comparative advantage", mainly considering how China's petroleum companies "go out" to activly take participation in international cooperation and competition. In addition, analysis how to build China's petroleum reserves.The healthy and stable development of China's foreign petroleum trade has important significance to the development of China's politic and economy.
