The growing waste household appliances has caused serious problem to the environment recently, and the recovery of these products is receiving much more attention due to the growing environmental concern and the governmental regulations. The reverse logistics system is the carrier for recovering the waste products, but there is much deficiency in the current recovery system, and the efficient system is urgent to set up.In this dissertation, the current status of the recovery for waste household appliances is introduced at first. And then the logistics system that includes the aspects of facilities selecting, combined vehicle routing, distribution and so on is analyzed.Based on the statements mentioned above, a MILP (Mix Integer Linear Programming) model is given to optimize the logistics system, and the locations of various facilities are decided. Then an insertion criterion based on traveling distance and residual capacity is developed to determine the multi-depot and VRPSPD (Vehicle Routing Problem with Simultaneous Delivery and Pick-up) vehicle route problem.Finally, an example that considers the logistics system of a refrigerator company in Anhui province is taken to demonstrate the model presented in the dissertation.
