With the arrival of the economic globalization and knowledge economy, more and more people realized that the competition in the future is mainly the talents' competition, and talents are the first resource of enterprises. After China's entry of WTO, state-owned enterprises in China face the cruel reality of competing with enterprises all over the world. The possession of a number of high-quality professional managers has become a key factor for state-owned enterprises to stay competitive in the market place.Under this background, study of "from deprofessionaliztion to professionalism: The transition of the state-owned enterprise manager in China" has a great theoretical and realistic significance. The article discusses the intension, concept, quality and ability to the professional manager. The article carries on research that is to realize state-owned enterprise manager " from deprofessionaliztion to professional development " and then changes the role further, with the method of literature comparative study and chart, and based on the theory of human resources development and management and commission agency's theory. For a long time, the development of the manager of Chinese state-owned enterprise is in the state of a kind of" deprofessionaliztion ". Because the government and enterprises' function is not divided into the manager's role reversal and operations objective achieved in a short time of state-owned enterprise;because the market operating mechanism is not smooth run, the manager of state-owned enterprise is not unreasonable deposed;because encourage and tied mechanism is not improving manager's job behavior of state-owned enterprise lost;because Education and training system is not improving , qualified managers of state-owned enterprise quantity it not enough;because the jobconsciousness is not strong, the manager of state-owned enterprise lack of the sense of duty. Put forward the strategic countermeasure that is to realize state-owned enterprise manager from " deprofessionaliztion to professionalism development ". On the country , changing government's management function , improving the modern enterprise system, improving manager related mechanism that market operate come , to put up professional life stage of development of manager of state-owned enterprise;to create the environment of manager's professional development of state-owned enterprise, that is way to realize state-owned enterprise manager from " deprofessionaliztion to professionalism development ". On the society, setting up complete state-owned enterprise manager's market operating mechanism and complete encouragement and tied mechanism, setting up the complete system of education and training, choose the way and realize executive's science , rational disposition with market-based engagement, that is way to realize state-owned enterprise manager from " deprofessionaliztion to professionalism development ";On the individual, strengthening job consciousness and professional ethics that the manager of state-owned enterprise cultivates , strengthens oneself , the career of the manager of state-owned enterprise, that is way to realize manager of state-owned enterprise from " deprofessionaliztion to the professional benign development" in China.
